About the event
Community Landscaping & Lawn Care Service Project is a hands-on service initiative where youth learn basic landscaping and lawn care skills while serving elderly neighbors, widows, and single mothers in the community. Participants will be trained in tool safety, mowing, trimming, mulching, and yard maintenance, then work in supervised teams to provide practical assistance to households in need. This project builds job-ready skills, work ethic, and compassion while teaching youth the value of service, stewardship, and caring for others.
Lunch and transportation to site locations will be provided.
There is no cost to attend.
This is open to middle and high school male youth.
