Our Mentoring Strategy

We believe that every male, regardless of age, has the capacity to lead, serve, and inspire, especially when nurtured in the right environment. Our mentoring model, Inward – Outward – Upward, takes a holistic approach to growth. It helps individuals uncover their strengths, discover a sense of purpose, and develop both life and vocational skills—empowering them to become who they were created to be. Our core programs and curriculum are designed for males ages 13 and up, with special day programs available for children at the farm.

Inward

The Inward journey builds self-awareness and personal growth through exploring identity, health, self-worth, and purpose—laying the foundation for lasting transformation.

Outward

The Outward journey turns growth into action through life skills, trades, service, and caring for community, land, and creation with intentional stewardship.

Upward

The Upward journey fosters direction and purpose, using the Bible as a guide to explore identity, responsibility, and a renewed understanding of self and the world.

Our Programs

Tree Stump

Gardening & Farming

Participants immerse themselves in regenerative farming techniques while nurturing essential values like entrepreneurship, leadership, and sustainability. This hands-on experience in nature’s playground helps cultivate skills that promote holistic well-being, making it a perfect blend of growth and learning in a natural environment.

Skills & Trades

Participants engage in hands-on learning across a variety of skilled trades, guided by experienced industry professionals. Through immersive training, they gain practical skills in areas such as farm-to-table culinary arts, agritourism, woodworking, metal forging, and more—equipping them for meaningful careers and creative entrepreneurship.

Wilderness Day Camps & Workshops

Our immersive day camps and workshops are designed for middle schoolers, high school students, and adults, offering unique, hands-on experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and practical know-how. Sessions blend gardening, farming, outdoor cooking, wilderness exploration, and essential life skills into engaging activities that foster connection with nature, self, and community.

Living the Life of Overflow

Living a life of overflow requires intentionality. It calls for obedience, trust, diligence, generosity, and a heart aligned with God’s purposes. It means recognizing that God is both the source and the sustainer of all provision and abundance.

We look for every possible opportunity to leverage the resources He's entrusted us to steward so that our entire community benefits. Through their work on the farm, participants not only provide fresh, healthy food for their families but also gain valuable skills that empower them to contribute meaningfully to their community. We focus on supporting widows and the elderly with initiatives like building and delivering raised garden beds and hosting community dinners.

Additionally, participants age 15+ may engage in agricultural business ventures that offer paid internships and help ensure the nonprofit’s long-term sustainability. These ventures include a mobile produce truck, woodworking shop, and more as we continue to grow.
