Summer Programs Launching: Empowering Young Men with Seeds of Purpose

As the summer approaches, we’re thrilled to introduce a new and exciting program designed to help young men discover their purpose, build valuable skills, and strengthen their faith—while having a blast outdoors!


🌱 Seeds of Purpose Summer Programs July - August! 🌱


Session 1: Males ages 11-15

Dates: Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18

Time: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Location: The Overflow, 3706 Piedmont Road, Morganton, NC 28655


Here’s What’s Happening:

  • STEM-based Gardening & Farming: Explore the science behind growing your own food in a fun and interactive way.

  • Field Trips: Visit a blueberry farm to pick your own berries, and head to a goat farm for a hands-on experience in cheese-making and animal husbandry.

  • Hands-on Projects: Plant seeds, build grow boxes, and dive into exciting DIY activities!

  • Outdoor Fun: Take part in outdoor games that bring you closer to nature.

  • Grow in God’s Creation: Learn about nature, stewardship, and the importance of caring for God’s world.


Enrollment is FREE and breakfast and lunch are provided!

  • Make a tax deductible donation to go directly toward the program’s budget, which includes costs for curriculum development, plant and garden supplies, facilities, transportation, program staff, meals, and recreation equipment. The cost per youth served is $200.
